Overview
Ball float steam traps are automatic devices that continuously discharge condensate from a steam system while preventing the loss of live steam. ME Engineering distributes ball float steam traps manufactured by BEP Engineering Pvt Ltd, and supplies them to industrial and process plants across Nepal. These traps use a floating ball connected to a discharge valve. As condensate collects inside the trap body, the ball rises with the water level and opens the valve, allowing condensate to drain continuously. When steam reaches the trap, the ball falls and closes the valve, stopping steam from escaping. Because discharge is continuous rather than intermittent, ball float traps are well suited to applications with high and variable condensate loads, such as heat exchangers, calorifiers, and process heating equipment, where steady removal of condensate is important for consistent heat transfer. Sourcing and support ME Engineering imports and distributes these traps from BEP Engineering Pvt Ltd and supports customers in Nepal with selection, installation guidance, and after-sales spares. (Please confirm exact pressure/capacity ratings, body material, connection sizes, and orifice options with the owner so these can be added accurately.)
Built and supplied by ME Engineering to IBR / ASME standards, with full documentation and nationwide service support.
