Industrial Heat Recovery Units
Heat Recovery Units capture usable heat from boiler flue gas, exhaust air or hot process streams and reuse it for feed water, air or process heating. They help industries improve energy efficiency and reduce operating cost.
- IBR / ASME standard
- Nationwide service
Overview
Heat Recovery Units are industrial energy-saving systems designed to recover waste heat from boiler flue gas, furnace exhaust or other hot process streams and transfer it to feed water, combustion air, process water or other heating applications.
In steam boiler and industrial heating systems, a large amount of heat can be lost through hot exhaust gases. ME Engineering designs and supplies Heat Recovery Units to capture this available heat and reuse it inside the plant. This can help reduce fuel consumption, improve overall system efficiency and lower the temperature of exhaust gas released through the chimney.
These units can be designed as economizers, air preheaters or process heat recovery systems depending on the customer’s requirement. The design depends on boiler capacity, fuel type, flue gas temperature, working pressure, available space and the required heating application.
Each Heat Recovery Unit is fabricated with suitable heat-transfer surfaces, strong casing, proper gas flow arrangement and industrial-grade materials selected according to temperature, pressure and operating condition. ME Engineering can support industries from basic consultation to design, fabrication, installation and commissioning.
Built and supplied by ME Engineering to IBR / ASME standards, with full documentation and nationwide service support.
