Overview
The Pennant PT23 / PT23L Inverted Bucket Steam Trap is a high-performance mechanical steam trap manufactured by Pennant and supplied in Nepal by ME Engineering. It automatically removes condensate and non-condensable gases from steam systems while preventing the loss of live steam. Designed with an integral strainer and stainless steel internal components, it delivers dependable condensate drainage and long service life for industrial steam applications.
The inverted bucket operating mechanism uses the density difference between steam and condensate to discharge accumulated condensate efficiently while maintaining an effective seal against live steam loss. The integral strainer protects internal components from dirt and debris, reducing maintenance requirements and improving operational reliability.
The PT23 and PT23L are designed for medium to heavy condensate loads and are suitable for process equipment, steam mains, heat exchangers, drip stations, and other industrial steam applications. Maintenance can be performed inline without removing the trap from the pipeline, reducing plant downtime.
