500 kg/hr Wood-Fired Steam Boiler - Bibicha Agro Farms
Design, supply and commissioning of a 500 kg/hr wood-fired horizontal smoke tube boiler for agricultural processing operations at Bibicha Agro Farms, Bhaktapur.
ME Engineering supplied and commissioned a 500 kg/hr horizontal smoke tube, 3-pass, wood-fired steam boiler for Bibicha Agro Farms in Bhaktapur, Nepal, providing reliable steam for the client's agricultural processing operations.
The boiler uses a horizontal smoke tube, 3-pass design - a proven configuration that maximises heat transfer from the wood-fired furnace through three passes of hot flue gas across the tube bundle before exhaust, giving efficient steam generation from locally available biomass fuel.
For Bibicha Agro Farms, managed by Mr. Dayaram Machamasi, this meant a dependable, low-cost steam supply suited to agricultural processing loads, while reducing dependence on costlier fossil fuels. The plant was built to IBR standards, with ME Engineering handling design, supply, and commissioning to bring the unit safely into service.
